How to Increase Blog Traffic Insanely Fast

As a blogger, you spend so much of time carefully selecting the topic and creating content. Later on you format the post, make a few changes here and there so that your post looks presentable in front of your readers, do a spell check, hit publish and then double-check. So much of effort goes into creating each blog post. But what use it is if you cannot get it in front of many people? With no leaders, the whole purpose of blogging gets defeated.

But I am sure you would have heard of bloggers getting thousands and lakhs of page views per month. So, how do they do it? Well, they just know the trade secret but won’t reveal it to others. Even though the blogging community is very supportive, many pro bloggers do not want others to learn their secrets because they fear they may become their competitors – competing for the same traffic if they are in the same niche.

Well, you need not worry now. The basic fact is that these so-called pro bloggers write only certain types of posts which they believe would bring them a good amount of traffic and we are going to discuss about them here.

Listicles, lists or list-format articles are nothing butΒ a piece of writing or other content presented wholly or partly in the form of a list. I am sure you would have come across such posts when searching for things like – top 10 craziest movies of all time, 5 reasons why you should never brush your teeth, 20 things only a single boy understands, etc.

6) Publish Posts in Series

Instead of publishing everything at once as a single long post, you can break them into parts and publish them separately and connect them through a link at the bottom of the posts. For example, if I’m going to publish content on ‘how to become the greatest blogger of all time’ in my niche, I can break it into 2-3 separate posts and publish them as how to become the greatest blogger of all time part-1 part-2, part-3, etc.

7) Share Interviews

You can interview fellow bloggers or some influencers in your niche and share it on your blog either as a written format (posts) or as podcasts. If you are going to share it as podcasts, make sure you publish the transcript along with it so that people can follow the content even if they have problems with the understanding foreign accents.

8) Guest Posting

You can either write for sites which accept guest posts or you yourself can accept high quality quest posts for your blog. By writing for other sites, you can gain a wider audience for your site whereas accepting high quality guest posts can provide more value to your readers. Either way it is a win-win situation for yourself and the other person.

For example, I am often contacted by WordPress themes & plugin marketplaces/sellers, WordPress hosting companies, email marketing companies, etc to promote their product or service on my blog in exchange for free themes & plugins, discounts, coupons, free premium accounts, etc.

By accepting sponsored posts, not only are you able to make free stuff from your content but also your post will be included in their social promotions. For example if I’m accepting a sponsored post offer from a company having more than a million Twitter followers, then there are many chances for them to tweet out your content either directly or by adding them to their Buffer queue. Just imaging the reach your post will be getting from them.
