In 2015, I was a college student with a lot of curiosity and even more free time. Back then, this blog wasn’t just a hobby; it was my laboratory. It was the place where I experimented with breaking (and fixing) WordPress themes and plugins, tinkered with server configuration files, stumbled through the basics of SEO, and discovered that digital marketing was more than just a buzzword—it was a career.
Those early posts were my portfolio before I had a “real” one. They actually landed me my first two jobs: first as an SEO Analyst at Technoarete Research and Development Association, and later as a Content Writer at rtCamp. But as anyone who has navigated their twenties knows, life has a way of picking up speed.
The Beautiful Blur
Between building a career, getting married, and the wonderful, exhausting whirlwind of raising kids, the “Publish” button on this site started gathering digital dust. My focus shifted from external sharing to internal building—building a home, a family, and a professional reputation.
For a long time, blogging felt like a luxury I couldn’t afford. But as things have finally settled into a manageable (if still slightly chaotic) rhythm, I realized I missed having a space that was just mine.
Out With the Old, In With the Intentional
If you’ve noticed things looking a bit different lately, you aren’t imagining it. I’ve been refreshing the site design and “cleansing” the archives.
Admittedly, it hurts to move certain articles to the trash—some that earned me my first paycheck and others I wrote purely for the love of the craft. However, I believe a purge is necessary. Except for a few posts kept for sentimental value, I’m clearing out the “fluff” and the technical advice that the ever-changing web has long since rendered obsolete. It feels like spring cleaning for my digital soul. I want this blog to be a resource again, not a graveyard of college experiments.
What’s Next?
So, what does this blog look like in 2026?
- Updated Content: Before diving into the new, I’m updating my evergreen posts to ensure they are accurate and relevant for today’s landscape.
- Refined Perspectives: I’m no longer just “learning the ropes.” I’m bringing years of professional experience to the table.
- Quality Over Quantity: No more “junk posts.” If I hit publish, it’s because I have something I genuinely think is worth your time.
- The Human Side: I’ll be sharing how I balance the technical world with the very real world of parenthood and personal growth.
To those who have been here since the 2015 WordPress days: Thanks for sticking around. To those who are new here: Welcome. The layout might look different and the archives might be smaller, but the spark that started this journey in a college dorm room is finally back.
It’s good to be home.
