5 Reasons why WPForms is the Best WordPress Form Builder Plugin

Howdy! If you are here, you know that WPForms is one of the best WordPress form builder plugins available out there. But, do you know why? Well, in today’s article I’m going to give you five reasons why and how it helped bloggers, hobbyists, and everyone else in the WordPress ecosystem.

Without further ado, here you go –

Availability of free version

To be honest, I feel that this is the single most important reason why WPForms is the best WordPress form builder plugin out there. They offer all the features that an amateur webmaster needs in the form of a single and simple to use plugin. The features available in the free version of their plugin, WPForms Lite is more than enough for a majority of WordPress users.

It provides you with the basic form fields and forms templates that you might need on your website. Most of us don’t need anything more than a simple contact form and newsletter sign up form on our website. If you’re a business owner and are dependent on your website for a living, that’s a different story.

But for most people who are just starting out and looking for simple solutions without complicating their life, WPForms Lite is the best choice out there. And that’s probably one of the main reasons why they became very popular.

And since it’s free, anyone and everyone out there can try it and guess what they can expect before purchasing the premium version of the plugin, should they choose to.

Widely used

Currently, WPForms is being used on more than three million websites and the numbers keep adding up every day. That’s quite a size, isn’t it? I remember that reaching even a million active installations on WordPress used to be an achievement in itself. Three million active installations are no easy feat.

Either they got lucky or people really love their plugin. And honestly, I believe it’s the second option. They are widely used and are still growing. So, there’s no way they are going to stop the development of the plugin in the near future.

I’m pretty sure they will keep working on it and improving the plugin for everyone out there. You can be assured that you won’t be left in the cold out there with no updates and support. There will always be someone to help you out.

Feature-rich

Even though WPForms is just a form builder plugin, there’s more to it than what meets the eye. You can use it to build any type of form on your website. And if you haven’t realized it yet, there are forms everywhere on the web.

Even the checkout page where you enter your PayPal address or your credit card number has a form to get the details. Surveys, user registration page, email marketing, file upload, and what not – everything makes use of forms. We might not have realized how important forms are, but they definitely play a vital role in exchanging information on the web.

WPForms comes with a drag and drop form builder, form templates, webhooks, third party integrations, and more that can make your life easier. It’s a prime example of a feature-rich plugin.

Innovative

One reason why I call WPForms innovative is the speed at which they make changes to their product is incredible. They are constantly innovating and finding new ways to improve the product and expand its use cases. When Gutenberg was first announced, they were among the early adopters.

Instead of complaining and opposing the proposed changes, they realized that it was time to up the game and take the competition to the enemy’s door. If we hadn’t adopted Gutenberg, we would have been left far behind by competitors like Wix, Squarespace, and Weebly.

Also, they are leaving no stone unturned by competing directly with the likes of Typeform instead of competing only within the WordPress ecosystem. Not everyone can do that and I appreciate them for that.

Affordable

Coming to the last but one of the most important deciding factor for anyone who is going to spend their hard-earned money – pricing and affordability. WPForms have priced their products aggressively by keeping the starting price as low as $39.50 per year for their Basic plan and $199.50 for their most popular Pro plan.

If you are a business owner, you know that you’re getting more value from that $200 by eliminating the need to hire a developer, review the code, apply security patches, keep it updated, and more importantly – get so many features in one little plugin. All you need to do is activate an addon to enable the feature you want and deactivate those you don’t want. It’s that easy.

If you were to hire a good developer, you would know that $200 won’t last more than a day, or a week at the best.

Summarizing all the points above, it would be safe to assume that WPForms is the best WordPress form builder plugin out there – be it the free version or the premium version. You’re definitely going to get more value than what you asked for.

I hope now you realize why so many people are using WPForms on their site. Also, I hope that you found this article helpful. If you did, consider sharing this article with your followers on Facebook, Twitter, or any social media platform of your choice.

  1. Hi, you have covered good points about wpforms. However there is one thing which i don’t link about wpforms is their pricing. For bloggers like us, we need a plugin where we can pay one time and get all the features instead of paying it annually.
